Carla left E! on after going to bed and I tuned in when Chelsea Handler started blasting FOX. A short while later a dude with a visage and persona resembling Jack Sparrow showed up and I had quite the painful time placing where I knew him from (turns out it was from Forgetting Sarah Marshall). I had to watch the entire interview to learn that the man was Russell Brand and was there promoting his new book: My Booky Book. Don't let the title fool you; Brand showcased quite the vocabulary and way with words while on the show. On the strength of this, I read his And then I became a junkie article from a few years back:

"...heroin is a greedy drug, robbing you by increment first of your clothing, then of your skin; when it finally comes for your life it must be a relief."

This could be a good read.
